02 / intelligence & learning

Prediction is the starting point. Judgement creates the value.

We connect knowledge across customer records, conversations and business systems. Intelligence and predictive models reveal risk and likely response. Judgement selects the next action, timing and channel, with digital agents carrying out suitable work and drawing on human expertise.

The decision discipline

Four questions connect insight to action.

QuestionWhat the decision needs
What do we know?Connected billing, payment, service and interaction history, with sources, missing information and permissions visible.
What might happen?Predictive intelligence about emerging risk and likely response. Prediction confidence, customer circumstances and affordability remain distinct.
What should change?Judgement about the action, timing and channel, based on likely benefit, customer impact, authority and cost. Consultation, specialist referral and no action remain options.
Did it work?Payments, arrangements, customer outcomes and full delivery costs assessed against a suitable comparison. Findings inform tested and approved improvements.

Expertise stays in the conversation.

A digital agent queries a human expert when a question needs specialist knowledge, then uses the answer within its authority while retaining the conversation. When a specialist takes over, the same customer knowledge and digital guidance support their decision.

We retain the information available, prediction, decision and selected action, with an agreed outcome-review date. Some effects take time; an unresolved result remains open until the evidence supports an assessment.

A customer who pays after support does not automatically make the original prediction wrong. The intervention may have changed what happened. Prediction quality and treatment effect are assessed separately.

Learning needs a controlled next step.

Outcome evidence informs changes to knowledge, timing, messages, treatments and models. Customer safeguards sit alongside cash and cost in the review. Changes are tested and approved before they enter the service.

Recurring billing or service problems also belong in the learning loop. We return the evidence to the accountable team and track the response.
